Why

The Land O Lakes Association of District Champions has long encouraged music education as a means to acquire the skills necessary to enjoy the barbershop hobby to the fullest. ADC recognizes the benefits of attending and offers financial support to members of the Barbershop Society who are planning to attend Society-sponsored harmony education programs.

Who Is Eligible?

To be considered for an ADC scholarship, applicants must:

• • Be a society member for at least one (1) year prior to the date of application;

• • State in 250 words or less the reasons why he/she desires an ADC scholarship

• • Indicate the number of times he/she has attended Society-sponsored harmony education programs (i.e. HEP, Harmony College).

• Include one email of recommendation from one of the following: the Music Director, Chapter President, or other Chapter officers.

Application Process

Application deadline is May 1, 2026. The application process is simple. Send or e-mail a copy of the completed application entitled: “2026 Scholarship Application” to Dave Baxter.
