Started singing in 1978 with the St.Croix Valley chapter. In my first quartet, Four Your Pleasure with a few weeks. Dad then decided he wanted to sing as well, but he wanted to sing with the St. Paul Chapter because BOB DOWMA was the director. So I moved to St. Paul, and have some of the best memories of my life singing with my Dad. While at St. Paul, formed the Little Rascals quartet in the fall of 1980. We won the division contest the next spring and was novice champ as well, qualified for international in May, and won the District Quartet Championship that fall in 1981. It was a busy year! Little Rascals went our own separate ways a few years later, but then formed Celebration with a new tenor. Made it to International semi-finals twice. Celebration and Harmony Works were the core group that started the Great Northern Union. Before Covid hit I started Mixed Company, a mixed acapella group. They are still going.
