2007 District Champion

Representing the Hilltop, St Paul, and La Crosse Chapters, Vocality captured the 2007 Land O' Lakes District Quartet trophy on Saturday October 27th in Rochester, MN.

After holding a narrow lead in the semi-finals on Friday night, Vocality was able to open up a convincing margin in the finals, averaging 78.6 per song, per judge.

DOWNSTATE EXPRESS ANNOUNCES ITS FINAL YEAR!

The Downstate Express quartet announced at the District Convention in Rochester that 2008 will be their last year together. Their final show is set for October 11, 2008, for the Duluth, MN Chapter. They said that they will, however, accept new performances dates until then.

Known for their entertaining show and afterglow packages, they are still singing in championship form, winning the International Senior Quartet Championship in 2004. During their 26 years together, they have won the hearts of the entire LOL District, which honored them with a standing ovation at their District's swan song performance. Asked why they are hanging up the pitchpipe, they simply responded, "We tried it for 26 years, but it didn't work out."

Ed, Bruce, Gary, and Trep expressed that they sincerely thank the LOL District for all the love and acceptance through the years. "It was a both a humbling and wonderful ride."
